Midlothian Council are currently considering our staged warrant application for this sustainable steading development just outside Edinburgh. A total of twelve new build houses on a brownfield site are proposed in a rural vernacular style. Although the proposed use of residential was contrary to local Planning policy, it was supported due to the design incorporating renewable energy sources.
