The design for 17no. flats, including an exclusive penthouse in this popular coastal town, uses the arrangement of the existing structure to form its concept.  Red sandstone, white render and red clay tile compose the material palette, as reflected on the existing structure.

The recessed penthouse with full-height windows and over-hanging eaves, set this design firmly within the contemporary genre, whilst embracing the characteristics of its predecessor.  Planning was submitted in November 2006.
